Well Dressings

Four:

• Village Well Dressing on the open space in Queen Street, near the main bus stops and public conveniences
• Churchyard Well Dressings two Dressings in the churchyard of St John the Baptist Church
• Horse & Jockey Well Dressing on a small open space beside Buxton Road, near the Horse & Jockey pub

The Flower Festival, when held, is on different dates from the main Well Dressings. A Well Dressing board usually features as part of the Festival in St John the Baptist Church.

How to get there

Tideswell is located on the B6049 between its junction with the A6 (about 2km west of Taddington) and the A623 Baslow to Chapel-en-le-Frith road at Lane Head (The Anchor pub).

CAR: a car park may be provided at busy times, but it is normally possible to park on the road just to the north of the village.
