Well Dressings

Three:

• Booth’s Well on Wych Fold, near its junction with Stockport Road adjacent to The Grapes pub.
• Sam Redfern Green Well Dressings at the edge of the Green, facing Stockport Road. This dressing is usually accompanied by a number of small dressings.
• Joel Lane Well on Joel Lane, near its junction with Slateacre Road

Another well on Joel Lane is also decorated, but not with traditional well dressing boards.

How to get there

Gee Cross is located on the A560 between Bredbury and Mottram.

CAR: the small village car park may be closed during the weekend festivities, but on-street parking is available a short distance away.

BUS: Every Day: frequent service from Stockport, Hyde and Ashton. Also Mondays to Fridays, morning and evening peak only from Manchester.
