How to get there

Bamford is located on the A6013, which links the A57 and the A625, passing Ladybower Reservoir.

CAR: it is usually fairly easy to park in the village.

BUS: Mondays to Fridays: 4 or 5 services per day from Sheffield and Castleton, 2 from Bakewell. Saturdays: at least 1 service every 2 hours from Castleton; 4 services per day from Sheffield, 2 from Bakewell. Sundays: at least 1 service per hour from Castleton; 3 services per day from Sheffield, 2 from Glossop, 1 from Chesterfield. Also at the bus turnround near the rail station and the A625 junction (about 1km): Every Day: at least 1 service per hour from Sheffield and Castleton.
